In the dark, wood paneled jazz club of the Culver City Doubletree hotel a select band of musicians took the stage to breathe life into 14 tracks of music that had not been heard live since they were originally recorded at MGM in the '60s. In attendance was Gerald Fried, the composer of many of the tracks.
